The Bernoulli-IMS World Congresses in Probability and Statistics are held every four years under the auspices of the Bernoulli Society and the Institute of Mathematical Statistics, the world’s leading scientific societies in the area of Probability Theory and Mathematical Statistics. Previous World Congresses have been held in Tashkent (1986), Uppsala (1990), Chapel Hill (1994), Vienna (1996), Guanajuato (2000), Barcelona (2004), Singapore (2008), Istanbul (2012), Toronto (2016) and Seoul (2020).
